Speed Beads? What are Speed Beads? Well, Speed Beads is a necklace for your horse! It has bells whose slight jingle calms and relaxes both the horse and rider. Use it everyday for Pleasure Riding, however they are popular with Barrel Racers and Gymkhana enthusiasts. Our NBHA, Rodeo and 4-H competitor/customers say that it helps their horses concentrate and run better. You just slip it on before your run and your horse knows that it's time for business. The necklaces help eliminate arena distractions allowing the horse to focus and run faster. Endurance riders and Hunter/Jumper riders are using them too. We use them ourselves and all designs have been tested for durability and safety. I enjoyed them 20 years ago and now my children and I make them to help support their 4-H Horse Projects.
Speed Beads Horse necklaces come in two different styles. The Tie Style. is Easy to Use - One Size Fits All. It is strung on a strong leather lace and can be tied to the length that you prefer. It is good for horses that do not like things slipped over their ears. The Tie Style is very versatile. If it is too large, just untie the knots and slip off a few beads. If it should turn (or rotate), you can tie a piece of your horse's mane into the knot. The Slip Over Style is made to be slipped over your horse's head and is strung on a marine quality nylon cord. All necklaces should fit snugly against the horse's neck for best fit and safety.
Speed Bead necklaces are handwashable with a little dish soap and water. Just rinse, wipe off the excess water and hang to dry.

Arrowhead Speed Bead necklaces are the basic necklace with a Fimo Arrowhead pendant. It is made up of your choice of 8 silver or gold accentbeads and 6 matching jingle bells. The Arrowheads are 1 inch long. The necklace is available as either Easy to Use Tie Style or Slip Over. Price $15.00.
Harmony Chimes are handmade Cloisonne pendants with etherial sounds to calm the spirit. The necklace is made up of your choice of chime, 8 silver or gold accent beads and 6 matching jingle bells with up to 3 bead colors. Available in either Tie Style or Slip Over Style. Price $16.00.
Cross Speed Bead necklaces are available in 2 styles of handmade beaded crosses. Above is our Fancy Cross and the Plain Cross can be seen below. The necklace is available in either our Tie Style or Slip Over. The cross necklaces are strung on a sturdy leather lace. It is made up of your choice of cross style, 8 silver or gold accent beads, 6 matching jingle bells and your choice of bead color. Price $15.00.
